This project is a series of bronze, miniature and pocket sculptures. Based on individual water borne organisms. The idea is to make as many of these small sculptures as possible, so that as many people as possible can have one in their pocket (if they want to). The principal being centred around the relationship between the productivity of marine organisms and our own economy. For example photosynthesis creating algal blooms that replenish oxygen and feed animals in the food chain, all the way up to our own table. And therefore our pockets!
The small forms have an organic feel and should remind us that the money we carry in our pockets, comes from natural, organic growth probably too small for us to see.
